Welcome
To My Official Web Site!!!!
This
Web Site is dedicated to the "BLUES" first and foremost
and keeping the "BLUES" alive along with all the other
genres of "MUSIC" such as "SOUL", "SOUTHERN
SOUL", "RHYTHM and BLUES", etc.
"GOSPEL"
had some "MUSICAL BABIES", one of her "BABIES"
was "BLUES". Why are "WE" ashamed
of the "BLUES"? Why are "WE"
denying who "WE" are? "WE" can't
escape the "BLUES" because "WE" are the
"BLUES".
The
"HISTORY" of the "BLUES" is more than
a "MUSICAL"
chronology. The "BLUES" was born the day the West
African shoreline fell from the horizon. It was raised amid the
institutionalized savagery of the Deep South and flourished in the dark
heart of America's largest cities. "WE" owe the "BLUES"
to those who bore the pain of enslavement behind the frightful shadows of
our collective soul.

I
am Kaye Fullyl♥ve-the Saturday Morning "SWEETHEART
of SOUL"
Air Personality on Soul 73 KKDA-AM, the oldest station of its kind in
Dallas, Texas. I’ve
enjoyed 7 eventful years at Soul 73 KKDA-AM, and I hope to enjoy many
more. Dallas has been
synonymous with great names for "BLUES" and "SOUL"
Legends as well as "RADIO" Legends.
"BLUES"
and
"SOUL" Legends like the late Freddie King, Z. Z.
Hill, "THE WAILER" Johnnie Taylor, Al
"TNT" Braggs, James Peterson and Lucky Peterson, "Tutu" Jones, even The "MACK" himself Willie Hutch, just to mention a few.
Others
"BLUES" greats who have etched their name in Dallas, Texas
are Aaron "T-BONE" Walker (related by marriage), "BLIND
LEMON" Jefferson, Huddie "LEAD BELLY" Ledbetter,
etc. who made their musical mark in Deep Ellum.
Since
1969-1970, when Soul 73-KKDA-AM made it's debut on the airwaves. I
was excited about listening to the "RADIO" then.
"RADIO" legends like "SUPER" Chuck Smith
(My 'RADIO' Mentor), Tony Price, Bill Mack were the first one to hit the airwaves. Others
who followed were the late "REAL" Bobby Elliott, "THE
FLY JOCK" Tom Joyner, "THE DR." Steve Ladd,
"SWEET"
Willie Mitchell, "COUSIN LINNIE" Henderson. Willis "Da
Crooner" Johnson, and my good
friend from our K104 -FM days "DA' WOLF" just to mention a
few. Those voices were and
are the epitome of "RADIO".
I am honored to be in this "ELITE" group of
people, especially because I use to listen to some of them when I was a young
girl, and little did I know that I would personally come in contact with
most of them and be able to play their "MUSIC" on
the "RADIO"
as well as befriend some of the finest voices to ever grace the airwaves.
I owe my 'RADIO' career to my Mentor-Mr. Chuck
Smith, without him, I would not be the
KAYE
FULLYL♥VE
that I am today on
the airwaves, not to mention my 'GOD" given talents. Thanks to
ALL. 'I AM' appreciative.
I
am also delighted that you took out the time to visit me, whether it be
for the "first
time"
or "for
the good times",
either way thanks for visiting me. Don't be a stranger to my
site.
